OK - the community Horse Festival is this weekend - hot dogs, sno cones, cotton candy, etc. and pony rides (MM gets to participate this year - he is VERY excited  ) Plus we're going to have demonstrations - Jolee and Princess jumping and MM doing his dressagy dance and obstacle things

Just pray we get him clean before Sunday

Will also have some hands on - grooming and getting to know the horse kind of class - there's usually a BUNCH of kids at the horse festival - and they really enjoyed the short demonstration/meet and greet the horses last year

Pray for me - LOL!

Will set up a One Horse table with some literature and some silent auction items.

It was too cold for bathing here today. Cosmo has her first real horse trial starting tomorrow and she was about 2/3 covered in dry mud. I got my curry comb workout. Hayley was in school all day and then Ed picked her up and took her to walk the course, so good ole mom (the groom) got stuck with curry duty. It took me about 45 minutes to desludge. I sprayed her lower legs off and then braided her - she looks so pretty. We leave around 7:30 tomorrow for a dressage time of 10:40. I hope my cold is better tomorrow.

Playing a little catch up here - OHAAT was once again at the John Henry Adoption Fair -(4/17) had a GREAT booth spot - right at the BEGINNING of the line up - :) Got some great information from the Standardbred rescue - Chasing the Sun

Saturday - April 22-24th - Edie and I represented OHAAT at the annual spring FOB get together - several groups of FOBS came to visit the one and only Mr. Midnight :) he lapped it up like a cat does cream - but that is our MM, afterall! have some pics and will post them later.

Saturday night, Edie and I went to Louisville for the dinner. It was great seeing old friends and meeting new ones.

An incredibly lovely week!
